Walter Reed Gateway

Walter Reed Gateway is a low density mixed use site that Thomas Development put under contract in July of 2022. The plan for the project is to achieve a MAP Amendment from the District of Columbia, allowing approximately 50 or more affordable apartments to be built on the site, contributing to Mayor Bowser's goal of making DC more affordable, and allowing a more diverse and affordable community in Northwest DC. The project is in Ward 4 and in a qualified census tract.
