Thomas Development is focused on two separate missions:
Luxury Rentals and Affordable Housing. We believe that both are important to a balanced community. Basically, we work to improve the DMV’s housing stock through rehabilitation and new construction projects, while also preserving affordable housing where appropriate. Our flexibility allow Thomas Development to deliver above market returns to our investors.
We focus on niche submarkets within Washington, D.C., as well as certain markets within Arlington and Alexandria. Given our consistent presence in these location, as well as our deep understanding of the city and community goals, we feel we have a distinct advantage over less focus firms. Often we will see opportunities 3 or 4 times before they are marketed by a broker in our specialty submarkets.
