Mr. Marcus, CRE, is a real estate executive with 40 years of experience in real estate development, valuation and consulting. He has expertise in the development of complex urban projects with commercial and residential components, as well as affordable and luxury multi-family projects. 

As a consultant, practitioner, and appraiser, Mr. Marcus brings skills in all phases of the property life cycle, including asset management, disposition/repositioning strategies, and due diligence materials for acquisitions, financing investments, and market studies. 

Mr. Marcus was named Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) in 2017 and has his M.B.A. in Real Estate & Urban Development from American University (1982) in addition to his George Washington University, 1978, B.B.A. in Finance. He is also a Certified General Appraiser in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Pecar is President of Pecar Properties LLC, a Washington DC area developer, owner, and operator of income producing investment property. He has completed numerous ground up development projects in addition to the acquisition and re-positioning of distressed assets. 

Mr. Pecar previously worked on multiple residential and commercial development and value add projects while working for Pittman Partners (Carmel, IN) and Sandor Development Company (Indianapolis, IN). Additionally Mr. Pecar provided real estate portfolio asset management consultation for the FBI and DHS while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Pecar received a Masters in Real Estate and Finance from Georgetown University as well as a Bachelors in Business Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He serves as an officer and pilot for the US Air Force and flies part-time with the DC Air National Guard.

  Blake Potolicchio is a co-founder, a Principal, and the Managing Partner of Acquisitions of Open Industrial. Blake also currently serves as a member of the Investment Committee. Blake has more than a dozen years of experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, asset management, and leasing. Blake is also a principal and founding partner at Davenport Group, founded in 2020, which focuses on creating value through relationship-driven, thematic real estate investments. Prior to joining Open Industrial, Blake held various positions deploying and managing capital from two Opportunistic equity funds at Rock Creek Property Group, a Washington, D.C. based real estate investment firm. There, he helped spearhead the company’s strategic direction and focused on acquisitions, entitlement, leasing and asset management.  Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Blake has a BA from The College of the Holy Cross. Blake resides in Washington, D.C with his wife and two sons.
