The Crossing
Thomas Development purchased "the Crossing" located at 5911 13th St NW in 2021. The project is a small apartment building that provides quality affordable housing for families, at high yields to investors. Thomas Development contracted FlyWheel Development to add a sustainable element to the project. The project was the first in DC to implement solar shingles. In year one, Thomas Development returned 100% of investor capital plus a return of 39%, with investors retaining an ownership interest valued at near their initial investment, for a total 149% return in the first year.
